Our Diablo Vista Divison was formed in 1963. Now, we have about 1150 members with most of them living just east of the East Bay Ridge along the 580 and BART roadways. All of the area can be seen easily from the Vista of Mt. Diablo its region you have such cities as Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hil, and Concord.
Who is CalRTA?
Our state
association, CAlRTA, was organized in 1929 in Pasedena.
It has grown to about
50,000 members and has 91 divisions blanketing the
state. With an active grass- roots program at the division level and
an excellent Legislative
Advocate ( David Walrath ) working
at the federal and state level, it has become the
dominant author- itative force protecting and enhancing our
retirement benefits.

Click to watch the power point presentation
This group is dedicated to informing the public about the WEP and GPO provisions of social security that adversely impact the income of thousands of retired educators and public workers in 14 states including California. It along with CalRTA and other major associations are in a Coalition working hard to get Congress to pass a bill to eliminate these unfair penalties. For more information and a current update click
